Snowdrop Developments are a luxury housing developer based in St Cyrus, Aberdeenshire.

We are a family-owned business focusing on delivering high-quality developments and one off bespoke homes that are architecturally designed and incorporate natural materials to the external such as stone, wetdash, slate and sash & case windows to give our properties a classic look. Internally we provide vaulted ceilings to the entrance halls where possible, higher ceilings to the ground floors, and oak effect doors throughout.

We are delighted to announce that we have won Show Home Of The Year!

Corporate Live Wire Prestige Award - 2021-2022 - Winner
The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2021 - Winner

We are also proud to have won the following awards

Our flag ship house Snowdrop Lodge received a Civic Society award for excellence in design. We are proud to say that Snowdrop Lodge is the basis of design and workmanship for all of our future properties.

Since then we have gone on to be finalists in the Ross & Liddell Scottish Home Awards year on year, winning the Show Home of the Year category in 2017, along with highly commended awards for House Builder of the Year (less than 150 units) in 2023 and in 2015.

What our customers think

I must admit having bought a new house before from another developer I entered the project with initial trepidation; however early on in the project my worries were quickly dispelled. The finished home is outstanding and somewhere we’ll happily spend many a year.

In all aspects of the project we felt engaged and part of team, from having the opportunity to liaise with the excellent architect and put our own mark on the project.

Post-handover the thought behind the design & quality finish throughout is clear, the support and desire to complete any minor snagging fantastic and all members of the Snowdrop team are a credit to the company.

I’d highly recommend Snowdrop Developments as a highly competent home builder who provide a standard of home beyond what most could ever dream of owning.
